Sunshine Salve is the peak of summer in a jar. Calendula has long been used to accelerate recovery of minor scrapes, cuts, bites, and burns. This powerful plant is supportive in calming eczema and dermatitis while being gentle enough to use in diaper balms and baby oils.
Our ingredients are simple:
Locally grown and harvested calendula infused into olive oil using the wise woman method.
Our calendula is intentionally grown locally by a small farmer north of Cypress, TX. The plants were lovingly grown free of pesticides. The plants were harvested and then arrived at our headquarters for processing.
The calendula was then air dried to maintain a vibrant color. When the plants were dried, they were infused and prepared according to the wise woman tradition.
Hand-grated beeswax with the essential oils of lavender, rose geranium, frankincense and lemon.
We purchase our beeswax in blocks and hand-grate ourselves. This helps us stay engaged in the creation process and ensures pure ingredients.
Each essential oil was selected in support of soothing, hydrating and relieving skin inflammation.
Lavender is a powerful anti-inflammatory. It is highly effective at soothing irritated skin and accelerating healing of minor wounds and scars. Rose geranium oil is used in skincare for balancing sebum in skin and hair. Frankincense contains boswellic acid and other active compounds that help stimulate cell regeneration and cell production. Lemon balances and tones, helping lighten dark spots and scars.

Our Sunshine Salve is hand made in small batches.
Our oil is made once a year and released mid to late summer. Inventory is based on the season’s harvest-it is wise to stock up on what you think you may need for the year- plus one.
