Crafting provides significant mental and physical benefits. Spending time in nature does as well.
FOOD Crafting with nature takes things to a whole new level!!!
Our group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in Cypress, TX.
We would LOVE for you to join us on Wednesday, July 8th from 6:30 to 8 PM at The Yellow Door Art Community in Cypress, TX.
WHAT IS IT?
Crafting with Nature is a monthly creative gathering.
Together, we will enjoy a meditative, therapeutic outlet that is a powerful way to practice mindfulness and cultivate social connection. The monthly gathering is designed to reduce stress and anxiety while building a deeper connection to one another.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
A monthly gathering to make things with our hands, slow down our nervous systems and sit in community together. This is for anyone craving slower times, seasonal living and true connection.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT on JULY 8th?
Our THIRD Craft event brings a little food into the fold.
In this event, you will learn how to use edible flowers to add a little summer fun (and flavor!) to your dishes.
You will learn how to make unique and beautiful Spring Rolls while enjoying seasonal mocktails.
Each participant will receive:
- A Flower Flavor Guide (PDF)
- Hand-on instruction, recipes and sourcing suggestions
- A seat at the table among likeminded community
- Locally Crafted mocktails
Why Spring Rolls?
In my opinion, Spring Rolls are THE quintessential meal for, literally, every season. They are handheld, can be stuffed a variety of ways and taste delicious. Adults can’t resist them and kids LOVE them. (Seriously, it is the one dish my niece asks me to make over and over again.)
At the beginning of summer, the spring herbs are ready to flower and lay seeds, it’s heating up outside and the last thing anyone wants to do it turn on the stove. So, we thought July was the PERFECT month to bring the backyard garden inside!
If you want to add a new kitchen trick to your skill set and/or add a little effortless elegance to your next dinner party join us!
Together, we will slow down, use our hands with intention and enjoy one another in a community setting.
Come as you are!
